Nicholas focuses on developing data-driven marketing solutions for acquiring quality users and driving other growth strategies.
Alanna Harvey is the co-founder and chief marketing officer of Flipd, the Toronto-based digital wellness platform that's nudging people to spend more time offline. Since launching in 2016, her company has been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, NPR, the Washington Post, and dozens of top media outlets worldwide, and Flipd has grown its community to more than 450,000 members. Building the Flipd community has helped Alanna uncover why our devices are pushing us away from activities that make us happy, and she's developed strategies and led workshops for educators, students, parents, and professionals on how to benefit from disconnecting. When she's not at work, Alanna runs, cooks, writes, and spends a lot of her time unplugged with her partner in business and life, Cristian.
Emma Jones is a Senior Marketing Manager at RBC Ventures, where she manages marketing strategies for products that go beyond banking. She currently leads efforts on DRIVE, a mobile app for all car ownership needs. Emma’s previous roles include Director of Marketing at Quandl, Associate Director of Strategy at DAC Group and Digital Producer at Microsoft. She is a regular startup mentor, speaker and co-founder of Women in Big Data Toronto.
Tucker is a Product Manager at Wealthsimple who works with the Mobile, Onboarding, and Marketing teams. He previously worked at Shopify as a Product Manager, focusing on Frenzy – Shopify’s first consumer facing mobile product that improves flash sales.
