Co-founder & CEO
Alex Austin is the CEO and co-founder of Branch, the leading mobile linking company that seamlessly connects brands with their app users across all channels.
Alex founded Branch in 2014 with three other co-founders while attending the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Branch was born from the challenges the co-founders faced as they struggled to maintain the growth of the previous venture, Kindred Prints, a mobile photobook printing app. Alex built the first deep linking SDK to connect their app with end users more easily. Branch has since evolved into a robust mobile linking platform with cross-channel solutions for businesses of all sizes to drive app installs and user engagement.
Prior to founding Branch, Alex held engineering roles at NASA Ames and Miasole with multiple patents and research papers under his name. Alex has received an MS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Stanford. Alex occasionally contributes guest posts to such publications as TechCrunch, VentureBeat, and TheNextWeb.
